Warren Glover, who was 33, was struck to the head by Aaron Stubbs in a heavy blow with a metal bar on the night of Saturday, June 13, 2020 on French Street at its junction with Thompson Street, Toll Bar. Liverpool Crown Court heard he was the victim of a revenge attack over abusive text messages he sent to ex-girlfriend, Melissa Stubbs and others in response to her making clear their relationship was over.

The kind and generous Evertonian was left to die by his four killers

A heartbroken mum told a court about one of her murdered son s generous acts of kindness.
The NHS-worker sadly died on June 13 last year after he was left to die by his ex-girlfriend Melissa Stubbs, her brother Aaron Stubbs, Stephen Strutt and Peter Walker.
Speaking about her only child in a victim personal statement Mrs Glover said: Warren was very kind and generous and would often buy people presents and give his money away to people who needed it more.
