LAS CRUCES – Wallpaper: It s not just for your grandmother’s house.
Wall Candy, a wallpaper and wall mural business, was launched in Las Cruces in January by Hannah and Cliff Robinson. They recently completed a wall mural of a scene from Old Mexico inside the Chilitos on Foothills Road.
Hannah said she is a fan of design and wallpaper has been featured in many places lately including her house. Her business idea was to design wallpaper and print it on demand. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple was home and decided to go for it.
Their intention was to sell prints nationally, which has garnered interest. But Hannah said she wasn’t sure there would be much local interest.
