California breaks single-day record again 379 deaths, Butte County reacts
The state reported the highest single-day record of COVID-19 related deaths for the second day in a row, pushing the total of California deaths closer to 22,000.

BUTTE COUNTY, Calif. - One-thousand people have died from the Coronavirus in the last five days, in California, and nearly 106,000 of the state s new cases, come from just the past two days.
California reported 379 covid related deaths Thursday, the highest in a single-day, 86 more deaths than yesterday, the previous record of 293.
People here in Butte County shared how they feel about hearing such a high number.
