Joel Weyrauch and Sammi Coppedge have been patiently awaiting their wedding day since November 2019, but when it came to getting vaccinated together, the couple just couldn t wait.
Weyrauch, 29, and Coppedge, 26, became eligible for their COVID-19 vaccines Wednesday morning and were able to snag appointments for that same evening in Richmond, Ind., one hour away from their home on the east side of Indianapolis

“We basically made the decision weeks ago that whatever opened up for us, if that meant driving to New Albany or Hammond, or whatever corner of the state, like we were gonna do it to get the earliest available appointment,” Weyrauch said.
