A lawyer for the owner of two Rhode Island gyms wants an opportunity to cross-examine Gov. Gina Raimondo in Superior Court if she extends a ban on indoor exercise at gyms beyond Dec. 20.
On Friday, lawyers representing both the state and Maxx Fitness Clubzz reached an agreement that would defer such an encounter if the gyms are able to resume their operations as hoped on Dec. 21, according to the gyms’ lawyer, Charles Calenda.
