PHOENIX â The man in the horned headdress during the riot at the U.S. Capitol made his initial appearance in a Phoenix federal courtroom Monday.
Jacob Chansley, also known as Jake Angeli or the QAnon Shaman, appeared telephonically as he is being held in a quarantine section of a detention facility.

TEMPE, AZ â The City of Tempe has disciplined Officer Ronald Kerzaya and settled a legal claim from a hotel employee after the officer held the Black employee at gunpoint while he was supposed to search for a white suspect in August.
The City Council approved a $300,000 settlement for the hotel employee, Trevonyae Cumpian, during a meeting Wednesday night.

Tragic news struck the NFL back on Nov. 30, when former NFL defensive tackle Ekom Udofia passed away. He was reportedly shot and killed by Phoenix police.
Police said Udofia was armed with a BB gun near 23rd Ave. and Indiana School Road. According to a report from KTAR News, the former Bengals player was in the street “disrupting traffic.”
