Visit Southern Idaho launches app to make exploring easier

TWIN FALLS â For people who like to be adventurous and take advantage of the outdoors during the summertime, Visit Southern Idaho has launched an app to help travelers and residents.
While there are many popular destinations people can head to, Southern Idaho has plenty of other hidden gems. The app sets out to highlight those attractions and allow everyone to see something new.
âThatâs one of my favorite things about Southern Idaho is all these different little places, but it is a little harder to find, said Melissa Barry, the executive director for Visit Southern Idaho. This app really helps open up that access which has always been a struggle for especially our visitors but for locals too.â

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - Shoshone Falls was recently rated by Forbes as the top bucket list destination for Idaho.
In May of 2021, the falls will take on an even bigger role as Idaho s number one attraction: Southern Idaho Tourism, with the help of Idaho Central Credit Union and the City of Twin Falls, will illuminate the falls after dark.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho During the month of May, the city of Twin Falls will light up Shoshone Falls after dark in a manner similar to Niagara Falls. This attraction comes after The Niagara of the West was rated as the top bucket list destination for Idaho by Forbes Magazine.
The falls will be lit up after dark with the help of Southern Idaho Tourism, Idaho Central Credit Union (ICCU) and the City of Twin Falls.
