Reporter according to a representative from servicemaster, an emergency cleanup company, at least 115 homes or businesses were either damaged or impacted by the sand and water. City crews spent most of the water shoveling up the dirt and sand from the streets into massive piles. Along with a sinkhole, portions of fillmore buckled from the flooding and pg e crews have been digging on holes to check on the gas lines. The pg e is a pipe infrastructure system thats in the general area that has the potential to be damaged, and, again, the San Francisco Fire Department is on scene in case that does occur. Reporter for residents here theres a sense of frustration because they say a water main broke just a block away a couple years ago. A San Francisco public utility spokesperson said they are trying to replace the citys aging water lines but werent able to get to this one yet. Preliminary hearing. It was the second day of her hearing and at the end of which, a judge would decide if there is enough evidence for her to stand trial. As the court was ending for the day, ramirezs attorney announced that she wanted to change her plead to know contest. A clear sign that they had reached a deal with the judge. Ramirez could face up to 12 years in prison. Up to five years in the prosecutor did not like that. Given the severity of what occurred in this case that a threemonthold baby was kidnapped and taken from his home and that as was shown in court over the last two days, there were multiple attempts to kidnap this child. Given all of the circumstances, it was the perfect storm for them to accept the offer. It was a reasonable offer from the judge. He fell in love and follow the wrong woman and found himself in this position. He has no records. He was working.
