Four ranking police officials have been recommended to be removed from the Philippine National Police due to alleged involvement in illegal drug activities.
More than two months after it was formed, the five-man advisory committee has completed its evaluation of ranking police officials who submitted courtesy resignations.
The names of ranking police officials who were cleared of involvement in illegal drugs should be made public, outgoing Philippine National Police chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin Jr. asserted after getting word that Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos said the courtesy resignations of 917 PNP third level officers were denied.
Over 900 ranking police officers who submitted their courtesy resignations have been evaluated by the five-man advisory committee headed by Philippine National Police chief Gen. Rodolfo Azurin.
