The opening of the Victorian Pride Centre coincides with the date announcement for Melbourne Pride 2021. Australia’s first purpose-built community hub for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, queer, intersex and asexual (LGBTQIA+) communities has been opened in Victoria. Located at 79-81 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda, the Victorian Pride Centre will offer people of LGBTQIA+ communities a space to come together and access inclusive services, learn about LGBTQIA+ history and watch and be involved in LGBTQIA+ art and performances within the centre’s theatrette and gallery.
