Melbourne Greyhound Racing Association (MGRA) is excited to release the official Terms & Conditions for the inaugural edition of
The Phoenix.
The Meadows,
The Phoenix is a $1.145 million slot race for greyhounds, with a remarkable $750,000 to the winner.
The race has already generated a huge amount of discussion since being announced on
Australian Cup Night back in February.

Ashley Baker noted the importance of ensuring the integrity of the race was protected through an independent and transparent legal framework.
“This is unlike anything we have ever done before and is a concept we intend to replicate for years to come, so it was vital that we made sure all participants would be protected by clear and binding guidelines.
