Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, Dec 15 (Prensa Latina) The 2020-2021 sugar harvest is currently facing the challenge of increasing its contribution to the Cuban economy and demanding integration into the productive chain for a more efficiency.
Given this strategy devised by the Azcuba Sugar Group, Sancti Spiritus province, leader in fulfilling Cuba´s 2019 production, is getting ready to start the sugra-cane crop this month, Aselio Sánchez, Azcuba director in the central province, stated.
Plus, he explained that the first sugarhouse to start will be the colossus Uruguay, from Jatibonico, one of the most efficient in the country, and the Melanio Hernández in January.
