Johnson County’s Commissioners will be advertising openings on the Library Board, and the Jim Gatchell Memorial Museum Board next month, with the hope of having them filled by July.
The discussion came due to the resignation of Mel Keffer from the museum board, and the need to replace his seat, which would have been up in July anyway.
The commission discussed their options.
According to discussions, the museum board will have another board member whose term will be up in June, and the commission decided to advertise for the three openings next month.
