The Korean embassy donated re-usable fabric masks to Sri Lanka Police in charge of diplomatic corps on March 30 in Colombo. Jung Haesung, the Consul of the Korean embassy handed over a consignment of re-usable fabric masks to the Director of the Diplomatic Security Division, Senior Superintendent G.A.S. Piyarathna in the presence of the ambassador, Santhush Woonjin Jeong.
These masks were manufactured by a Sri Lankan social enterprise for distribution among the police personnel in appreciation of their dedication and commitment to control COVID-19. It is of utmost importance that the police remains healthy and the masks will be helpful in controlling the spread of the pandemic within police stations.
