Improved civil-military relations have positive effect on economy: Fawad - Newspaper

RAWALPINDI: Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry has claimed that for the first time in the country’s history civil-military relations have improved in the tenure of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government, saying it has a positive impact on the country’s economy. He was speaking to reporters after laying the foundation stone of National Centre for Industrial Biotechnology and solarisation project at Pir Mehr Ali Shah Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, on Friday. “We are working to manufacture drones with the help of the country’s armed forces and it will be used for improvement in the agriculture sector. The drones will help the farmers to check crops,” he said.
