Bethel Regional High School held their commencement ceremony on May 19, 2023. Principal Alicia Miner gave the welcome address. Afterwards, the two student-selected speakers, Mason Fitka and Kendal Herron, gave their speech.
Earlier this week, first lady Dr. Jill Biden visited Bethel along with a delegation of female Alaska Native leaders. The day before, Bethel Regional High School learned that they would be hosting the first lady and her security entourage.
