Megan didn’t realize she was working for North Korea
This entire storyline felt like it was part of a different show all season long but it all came to a very satisfying conclusion, tied into the main story, and plays into how the show might do a second season (more on that later).
Megan (Rosie Perez) came clean to Cassie (Kaley Cuoco) about stealing information from her husband after Cassie came clean to her about Alex (Michiel Huisman). She began her confession with the word “apparently,” indicating the truth about what she was doing came as a big surprise to her, and explained how she was approached at one of her husband’s conferences.
The Flight Attendant.
The Flight Attendantfinale brought the season to a satisfying close while also leaving Cassie Bowden (Kaley Cuoco) on the brink of exciting change.
After realizing that Buckley (Colin Woodell) is actually Felix, Alex s (Michiel Huisman) sociopathic murderer, Cassie heads to Rome for work, intent on luring him into a trap with Miranda s (Michelle Gomez) help. Unfortunately, Buckley/Felix gets the jump on Miranda, leaving Cassie to fend for herself when he attacks in her hotel room. Luckily, Cassie procured a gun from her Italian friend-with-benefits Enrico (Alberto Frezza) and manages to fire off one shot. And then, in a totally surprising turn of events, Cassie s coworker Shane (Griffin Matthews) heroically bursts into the room with his
The Flight Attendant closed one chapter, but may have left the door open for another.
Billed as a miniseries, the eight-episode HBO Max thriller certainly left a lot of questions unanswered in the end, even as Cassie s (Kaley Cuoco) topsy-turvy, chaotic and incredibly messy journey seemed to wrap up on a bright note. After catching Alex Sokolov s real killer, Felix (ahem, Buckley Ware), with the help of an unlikely ally in Miranda (Michelle Gomez), Cassie turned over a new leaf, vowing to leave behind the demons of her past a troubled childhood, the excessive drinking, the never-ending spiral to break the cycle and start anew. Will she accomplish her goal of recovery and sobriety? Potentially. The open-endedness of that question left more intriguing with the possibility that Cassie may be recruited into the CIA s asset program. (Seriously, there is so much to digest!)
Rolling Stone Menu ‘The Flight Attendant’ Sticks the Landing
In a TV age where it’s increasingly rare for series to reach a satisfying end, the Kaley Cuoco comedy-thriller touches down seamlessly

Back when I used to travel to places in the before time, I would greet the sound of the plane’s wheels touching down on the runway with an exhalation and a little smile. I knew the odds were highly in favor of a safe landing, but it was still reassuring to hear that thunk. When a television show I’m enjoying is about to come in for a landing, I hold my breath more deeply, because the odds are much longer of making it to our destination in one piece. So many things about the way the medium operates work against the idea of a good finale, successful endings can feel like happy accidents.
