Pokémon Go trainers for the upcoming Johto Celebration, Niantic is putting on a special event focused on the Electric-type Pokémon Mareep.
Mareep, the electric sheep, is a staple of the Johto region and with the upcoming Incense Day event, trainers will have the best chance to not only catch the Pokémon, but also its shiny variant.
This Sunday s Incense Day event will also give trainers the opportunity to power up their Ampharos with an exclusive attack. Evolving Flaaffy, the evolved form of Mareep, into Ampharos during the Incense event will allow the Electric-type to learn Dragon Pulse.
