revealing that the capitol attack was farm of former president trump s plans, not just a rally that got out of control. as chairman bennie thompson put it, quote, the violence was no accident. i represented trump s last stand, the most desperate chance to hold the transfer of power. officials testified that they informed trump repeatedly that he lost. former ag bill barr called bs on trump s election conspiracies. according to the committee i had three discussions with the president that i can recall, one in november 23rd, one was on december 1st and one was on december 14th. i have been thoroughly give and take out those discussions and within that context, i made it clear that i did not agree with the idea that saying the election was stolen and putting out this stuff. i told him that it was according to the committee however, trump continued to meet with rudy giuliani and other election deniers. on december 18th, 2020, they talked about sending troops to seize voti
