Ten GOP election deniers have been banned from serving as electors if Trump is on the 2024 ballot. But one of them is still on the statewide election commission.
Dems at today’s state party convention reelected Chair Ben Wikler and other party officers in uncontested races. Wikler in opening today’s convention noted last year’s convention took place just days after the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the state’s 1849 abortion ban taking effect. He said the state has work to do to tackle threats to democracy.

Two candidates for the Burlington Area School District School Board are getting support from the Racine County Republican Party, despite the fact that the nonpartisan nature of the school board is intended to enable the conduct of board business free from party influences.
Simultaneously, other candidates on the April 6 ballot for offices in the City of Burlington and Town of Burlington have associated themselves with a new group called Patriots for a United Burlington.

Wisconsin’s 10 presidential electors cast their votes for President-elect Joe Biden on Monday, Dec. 14, taking one of the final state-level procedural steps in a tumultuous election year.
The 10 Democratic presidential electors met at the state Capitol Building at noon, as is required under state law, to cast their votes for Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
