Meet Marlborough Apprentice #11, Seta Baker from NMIT!
Seta started the two-year New Zealand Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering, Level 4 programme, offered by NMIT exclusively in New Zealand. While Seta won’t be officially starting his workplace training until next year, he will be getting hands-on learning at the RNZAF Woodbourne base in preparation. Seta studies hard and commutes to Nelson weekly for his rugby training with the Tasman Mako’s. This year the Tasman Rugby Union recognised the promise they see in Seta and have awarded him a scholarship to support his study.
