Longtime SIU professional to serve as interim director of admissions Tactical Navigation by Kim Rendfeld CARBONDALE, Ill. Amanda Sutton, a longtime professional at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, will serve as interim director of admissions.  Sutton, most recently associate director of operations for undergraduate admissions, will lead SIU’s efforts to grow enrollment by recruiting high school seniors, transfer students and others seeking an associate or bachelor’s degree.
