08:20 AM EST Share The Jacksonville chefs and brothers will operate a full-service restaurant, bar and coffee shop at the Southside medical clinic.
Mayo Clinic can start construction for build-out of the Mayo Atrium restaurant to be operated by Jacksonville chefs Matthew and David Medure.
The city issued a permit Feb. 26 for Batson-Cook Co. to build-out 8,400-square-feet of space into the restaurant at a cost of $5.2 million in the Southside medical center’s new retail link.
Mayo spokesman Kevin Punsky said Feb. 8 that most of that amount is the restaurant although there are some construction costs outside of it.
Plans show seating for 220 comprising 164 for dining, 24 in a coffee shop and 32 on the exterior patio.
