Our CorrespondentKohima, Oct. 29 (EMN): The Alumni Association of St. Joseph’s College (AASJC), Jakhama, will celebrate its silver jubilee on November 18 on the theme “Igniting oneness.” Briefing media persons on Saturday, the association president, I Yanger Imchen, informed that the 25th anniversary would be organised to honour its pioneers which was formed on November 8, 1997. Kiviboto Sheqi, convenor of the jubilee planning committee, has invited all the past students to the celebration. He informed that a formal programme has been scheduled in the morning at the college indoor stadiumm while a basketball match would be played between the alumni basketball team and the present college team. Meyisul Thaprii, advisor of the alumni association, informed that they would be represented by the 2003 college team, which represented the college in the Nagaland University basket tournament in the match against the present college team.
