I was speaking with an official who said in retrospect we should have transferred Thomas Eric Duncan to either emory or nebraska, two facilities especially trained to deal with these kinds of biohazards. There was too much confidence in every hospital in america, that every hospital would be able to handle an ebola patient. When clearly weve seen when they took care of an ebola patient, two more people got sick. You dont get to choose where you have ebola case, so you do need to be prepared.
