We need to find solutions to address this threat to communities and wildlife. Today the committee is going to hear testimony on three bills related to catastrophic wildfires burning across the west. Introducedes has senate 605 relief for Forest Management projects which would address conflict in Circuit Court decisions and prevent close the ways in the Forest Management as a result of duplicative consultation requirements. The committee will hear testimony on the bill as 1417 the Habitat Conservation restoration act of 2017 in the opinion in juniper trees that are Invasive Species that we do need to wildfires had compromised habitat across the west. And now were hearing details about the hijackers motive. Nbcs Alistair Jameson joins us from london. What can you tell us . Good morning, dara. This was a routine flight, a short trip from alexandria to cairo. The flight takes around 30 minutes. Some point in that flight one of the passengers on board told the flight clue crue he had explosives on, a suicide vest and the flight was diverted across the mediterranean and landed at larnaca. Once on the ground, negotiations began to release almost all of the passengers. Its still not clear what motives lay behind this hijacking. The cyprus president said its nothing to do with terrorism and a highlevel source told nbc news that the hijackers motives seem to be a personal matter involving a woman and the hijacker asked to speak to someone, possibly his exwife. What we know is there are still around eight people on board that plane. Most of the passengers are off. But around eight people are still on board. That consists of the crew and thre
