Noida COVID Alert: A 78-year-old man with comorbidities passed away due to COVID-19 at a hospital in Noida on Tuesday, raising the district's death count to 492, according to health department officials. The patient had severe anaemia with end-stage sepsis and had been hospitalised since April 14th. As of Tuesday, the district had 689 active cases, including nine children, with 73 patients recovering from the infection in the previous 24 hours. Apart from compulsory face masks, the Noida Health Department has also asked schools and colleges to follow social distancing in the classrooms. It has instructed educational institutes to ensure that students have adequate access to hand soaps and sanitizers.
For workplaces, the guidelines recommend the use of sanitisers, proper cleaning of offices, thermal temperature scanners at office entries, and work-from-home option for employees showing signs of cold, cough, fever, and flu and suggested Covid test for them
