(Enterprise photo — Elizabeth Izzo) SARANAC LAKE Details have been released for a COVID-19 vaccine clinic Thursday at DeChantal Apartments, 60 Church St. This POD (point of dispensing) event is for Franklin County residents who are 60 and older, essential workers, or have qualifying conditions. It is by appointment only. Eligible essential workers include restaurant, hotel and grocery workers, for-hire vehicle drivers, teachers, child-care workers, health care personnel, first responders and corrections workers. To schedule an appointment, register onine at https://on.ny.gov/3cyyy7S. If registration assistance is needed, people 60 and older can call the Franklin County Office for the Aging at 518 481-1526. Eligible people under 60 should call the COVID-19 Call Center at 518-481-1111.
