are doing. it will not sit with a lot of people, including me. $10 billion that was supposed to be allocated to the irs is getting clawed back. that will reduce some of those 87,000 irs hires who were supposed to be put on the payroll, right? yes. 80 billion total. that is just a fraction. same thing with the work requirements. taking medicaid out. medicaid has almost 90 million people enrolled in it. at least. he has taken that out. it is insane. if you look at the requirements, 20 hours a week, well over 20 hours. how many families work well over 20 hours. it is insane what the democrats want. that is why the best thing is to kick this things out, say no and put it back into negotiating. you don t have time to do that before the default deadline

process that concerns me. yes, part of the insurance will benefit alaska, but it s really the medicaid part that concerns me, the long-term, as you appropriately stated. one in four alaska answer are receiving some method of medicaid benefits. so it s really the whole package i m concerned about and it s coming awfully quick at it and so if it is not a way to pause it, i guess i would like to see it split apart in some way so that the medicaid is taken out of the insurance side of it. so there s really two bujded together and i think that s a concern for me zbloor i saw that that senator lisa measure cow ski said something similar this week, that she wishes they would put the medicaid out. have you spent any time with them yet, either one of them and if so, what s the case they make to you to be more optimistic about this bill? well, i have spent time with both of them, but not
you re not hearing it in the senate. and it s going to cost them. it s really going to cost them in 2018 if they don t cut this out. you know, you re always supposed to be acolytes of ronald reagan. this bill does shrink the size of government, which is one of the things that ronald reagan talked about, tax cuts and things like that. what do you think he would say if he were sitting in the oval office right now, if he were in donald trump s position, how would he be counseling mitch mcconnell to get this through? i think reagan would have taken a different approach from the outset. he would have led rather than followed and made sure the people that needed help got it first. he always talked about saving money as the second priority. the house and senate have done it exactly backwards. he would have led medicaid out of the conversation?
