and kayleigh mcenany. great to have both of you with us tonight. i want to read this piece in part. in newsweek, in chicago it s parkland every weekend, but the media hasn t turned this frenzy of shooting into around-the-clock marathon like they did with parkland. there s a reason. a young black males life is not worth reporting when it s taken by another blackmail. that s the real racism that prevails in america s newsroom. the marginalization of black urban life. your response? i think there s some truth to what he s saying. when we ask the questions to black lives really matter, they are talking about what happens between police and african-americans but they are also talking about the fact that in our communities, chicago is not alone. baltimore, detroit. new york. you have the cities that are littered with violence and the reason why we have violence in the city is for a couple of reasons. one you have underfunded schools. two you have a lack of opportunity. basically people a
of perhaps a change in national focus that might be a struggle for you to refocus. well, you know, i think that the there really is no change in national focus. i think we re realizing that the nation is actually focused on this. i think after parkland there have been groups work on this problem for generations. and i think that it is really starting to pick up and that s where the media is focusing on. though there are people that the media hasn t focused on in the past, i think that is really important we keep on that traction. thank you so much for being with us, we ll let you get back to this demonstration now happening behind you. meanwhile, i want to give you new details on a new shooting. and this happened in ocala, florida. you re looking at live pictures now, outside the church where students were evacuated. what happened is there was a shooting, incident, that involved two male students at the forest high school. one of the students was shot in the ankle.
i think it s really it disgusts me to see an individual talked to senator rubio like that because i personally developed a connection with him and he s a really great guy. all these senators and all the people in washington truly care about making sure this won t happen again. no one wants to see anyone go through one of these mass shootings. actually getting things done is hard. the media hasn t taken kashuv seriously but millions of americans have, including dozens of lawmakers, including the president of the united states. i think it shows that there are certain ways to go through chain and there are proper channels and proper levels of respect necessary to enact change. there s a clear-cut way. there s certain things you don t do and certain things you do do. getting this through shows that there are certain ways to do so.

this is an historic occasion. i believe i know robert reich disagrees, but i believe this will be very powerfully progrowth. it s good for businesses, wo workers, families. one of the announcements this week was that they re withholding tables will start changing at the beginning of the wreer, so americans will learn when they see their paychecks that the media hasn t told them the truth about this. because the vast, vast majority of people in the middle class are going to get a tax cut. robert, is there anything in this bill you like? especially when steve points things out like an increase in the deductions? child care? little things that i think are letter than they were. like the child tax credit. refundable and i think rubio got that in. but overall, the bill is in many ways, worse than it was. that is you now have the highest rates going down from their 39.6 down to 37%. you ve got rid of the corporate alternative minimum tax altogether.
