Brookline Bank promotes Allan Martorana to senior vice president of mortgage origination Community Content Brookline Bank recently announced that Allan Martorana has been promoted to senior vice president of mortgage origination. In this role, Martorana oversees the bank’s team of mortgage banking officers responsible for originating residential mortgage loans across the bank, greater Boston and North Shore footprint. Martorana is based at the Brookline Bank office in Medford Square.   Martorana has over 35 years of banking experience, 23 of which have been with Brookline Bank. He started his banking career as a teller and worked his way through the ranks before finding a passion in the mortgage division. Leading up to this promotion, Martorana had been the vice president of mortgage origination, a role he has held since 2013.
