The Agency of Agriculture is offering free radio-frequency identification (RFID) tags for cattle. The annual number of tags farmers may receive is dependent on farm size: up to 100 tags for small farm operations, 200 for medium farm operations and 400 for large farms. Cattle dealers and veterinarians are also eligible for free tags. Those interested in receiving tags should contact the Agency at (802) 828-2421.
