Beginning Monday, Sept 19, both directions of the Meadowbrook State Parkway between the Loop Parkway (Exit M10) and Bay Parkway in the Town of Hempstead, Nassau County, will be closed to traffic weeknights from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Brandon Garzon (age 24) of Patchogue, NY and Jonathan Escobar (age 31) Las Vegas, NV face drug charges after a wrong way stop in Nassau County on August 28, 2022.
On Sunday, shortly after 4:00 am, the State Police received reports of a vehicle driving the wrong way on the Meadowbrook State Parkway traveling southbound in the northbound lanes.
