NEW BLOOMFIELD Jefferson City’s Dylan Bryan and Ashland’s Jacob Anderson tied for first place in the boys 16-18 year-old division Monday on the Missouri Golf Association’s Missouri Junior Tour stop at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club.
Bryan and Anderson each shot a 1-over 73.
Blair Oaks senior Dylan Bryan was playing in the Class 3 boys golf state championships for a third time, so he knew the formula to have a successful two-day tournament at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club. “I knew you couldn’t make mistakes,” Bryan said. “You can’t make any big numbers out here, the (double-bogeys) will kill you. You just have to take your medicine and make bogey at worst.”
Wearing a black blazer, pearl necklace and heels, Sadie Mudd glided through the clubhouse and golf course at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club with a smile on her face, greeting everyone she passed by name.
