Man banned from driving after he was caught over limit 180 miles away from home
A MAN has been banned from driving after he was caught behind the wheel while over the legal limit for alcohol. Christopher Graham Davidson was 180 miles from home when he was pulled over near Witney in Oxfordshire. The 31-year-old later pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while being under the influence of alcohol over the legal limit. Court records show that Davidson, of Meadow Head, Rishton, had 96 micrograms of alcohol in his system per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 22. He was ordered to pay £718 in a fine and costs for the incident, which occurred on May 20.
