in the world. our ann burnett, who spoke with his brother, has a look at who he is and where he might be. reporter: a massive manhunt. officials desperately searching for the attacker who got away. this video from thedailymail.com showing a man who may be salah abdeslam, the 26-year-old now the most wanted man on earth. his face now known to the world. [ speaking foreign language ] salah and his brother ibrahim, who blew himself up the night attacks, rented the three cars that delivered the gunmen to their killing sprees. one of the cars later found with three ak-47s found inside. salah rented this hotel room in a paris suburb in the days before the attacks. he grew up here in molenbeek, belgium, a neighborhood we visited in brussel else with a large immigrant population and as salah s brother told me home of many young men who have gone to syria to train with isis. salah ran a bar in molenbeek.

from which the logistics were handled by the commandos that carried out those attacks. question was whether he was one of the shooters. one of his brothers blew himself up, one of the suicide bombers. salah abdeslam was potentially one of the shooters. it now appears that he backtracked just after the attacks took place, apparently he put a call through to two of his friends who were in brussels. now, that s several hours drive away from the french capital, paris. when they came to pick him up in paris in the middle of the night apparently he was wearing al suicide vest and he was in shock, extremely nervous, apparently potentially this is coming from those two friends who drove him to brussels in a state of mind where he was potentially willing to blow himself up during that car ride. hmm. and then what are people telling you about their ongoing fears or perhaps their determination to try to, you know, carry on as
