Police have identified the deceased in an early morning crash south of Ethel.
First responders got to the scene around 7:40 Tuesday morning at McNaughton Line (Huron County Road #19) about a kilometre south of Cranbrook Road.
Investigators believe a minivan in the southbound lane, crossed the centre and collided head one with a school bus.
The driver of the minivan was pronounced deceased at the scene, and they have been identified as 36-year-old Daniel Karpyshyn from Vanastra.
The lone occupant of the school bus was taken to the hospital with minor injuries but has since been released.
Anyone with any further information is asked to call police.
