Police said they were called to the Bell County Public Health District Clinical Services office in the 800 block of N. 31st St. around 11:30 a.m. An officer at the scene said the building was evacuated. As police investigated, Temple Independent School District spokesman Christian Hernandez said Temple High School was placed on a lockout. A lockout means classes continued as normal but no one was allowed inside.
