Applications may be submitted for pregnant women and children ages birth to 4 who live in Brown, Cass, Pike, Schuyler or Scott counties. Through head start and early head start, PACT provides education, health, social services and parental involvement, which emphasizes parents’ role as their children’s primary educator. Health services include parent education, child health examinations and, if necessary, follow-up medical, dental, nutrition, and mental health treatment. Services are provided through weekly home visits with regular group experiences for the children and parents or through daily classes.
