The Boeing 797 – a plane that airline passengers will love – is back on the drawing board despite Boeing’s record loss in 2020.
Speaking to a select group of analysts this week, Boeing president and chief executive officer David Calhoun said the aerospace giant is making good progress in technology development and manufacturing, someone speaking to Airlineratings.com said.
Mr. Calhoun also added that it will be ready when that time comes “to offer a truly differentiated product.”

And that product is expected to be a so-called mid-size two-aisle aircraft with 220-270 seats and a range of about 10 to 11 hours.
