Expanded hours will result in more than 4,600 individual opportunities for students each week, including reservable workout sessions and classes. Mask-wearing policies and social distancing guidelines will still be enforced.
Starting March 15, the IM Building and Hepper Fitness Center will be open from 6 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays. Their hours will stretch from 8 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to midnight on Sundays.
Through expanded hours, Penn State will offer about 2,500 more reservable time slots for student workouts.
New IM Building offerings will include an “informal recreation area,” a reopened bouldering wall, and track and cardio areas.
