A general dentist with more than 30 years of experience, Lori Lightfoot, of Dolton, Illinois, was installed as Chicago Dental Society s Kenwood/Hyde Park Branch director on Nov. 12. Dr. Lightfoot is an active member of CDS and has previously served as Kenwood/Hyde Park Branch president and branch correspondent.
A practicing general dentist for 30 years, Shafa Amirsoltani, of Elmwood Park, Illinois, was installed as Chicago Dental Society s West Side Branch Director on Nov. 12. Dr. Amirsoltani has previously held several leadership positions within the CDS West Side Branch, culminating in being branch president, and currently serves on the Mediation and Peer Review Committees for the West Side Branch.
Sara Imtiaz, D.M.D., of Chicago, Illinois was installed as the 2024 new dentist board director of the Chicago Dental Society on Nov. 12. Dr. Imtiaz has been actively involved throughout her professional career, including holding several leadership positions across professional organizations, such as president of the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry DMD Class of 2022 and deputy commissioner at the American Dental Education Association.
