yesterday, trump aides called a bunch of reporters saying, hey, you got to watch ohio tonight. it s going to happen tonight. it s going to happen tonight. of course it didn t. other republicans talked trump out of it saying look, just wait a little bit. wait a week. don t step on our night. mccarthy, did mccarthy talk him out of it. i don t know if mccarthy did. but those close to him did. there was leadership on the hill that said, hold off, don t do it tonight with the thinking being what could be the number one motivator for democrats to turn out today, donald trump declaring his candidacy for president. they got him to hold off a week. also at the ohio campaign rally. former president trump mentioned nancy pelosi for the second day in a row. as a reminder, here s what he said on sunday while speaking in miami. this was just a group of people where crazy nancy pelosi, by the way, how is she doing lately? how is she doing? and then last night, the former president was talking
