Lucky Mbuzi is expected to apply for bail next month.

Mbuzi, Luthando Manyana, 23, and Simbongile Mjuleka, 28, initially appeared in the Mbizana Magistrate s Court for killing ANC activist Mduduzi Madikizela, 46, at his home in Jali Village, the Eastern Cape, two weeks ago.

Winnie Madikizela-Mandela local municipality ward councillor, Lucky Birthwell Mbuzi, 44, is accused of masterminding the murder of fellow ANC member, Mduduzi Madikizela.
Madikizela died in a hail of bullets after allegedly being ambushed while closing a garage door at his Ntshamathe Village home on Friday.
Municipal sources claimed Madikizela was reportedly planning on standing against the ward councillor for a council position during the upcoming local government elections.
