Cameroon was represented in the competition by one athlete, Vanessa Mballa Atangana in the women’s +78kg. This was a first bronze medal at the Masters for the Tunisian. In the second bronze medal fight turkey’s Kayra Sayit beat Kim Hayun from Korea.  On the final results sheet Vanessa Mballa Atangana finished on the fifth spot with Kim Hayun.

Organised by the African Judo Federation, the competition brought together 126 competitors on the continent. Four athletes represented Cameroon in the competition.
