the strains that people are sick with now. there are a number of places people could get that information. the cdc is still reporting on the new variants, omicron, the subvariants like ba-4 and ba-5. but the guidance is not changing as fast as the virus and the guidance is black and white, pretty binary. and unfortunately, when you change guidance as fast as the circumstances that are changing it could cause issues of trust being broken and it is something that is quite fragile here in the united states given the fact that we have not prioritized good public health communication and given the fact that there have been so many confusing messages from officials and from public health groups. well, as someone who avoided it for two and a half years and just got nailed with, it i could tell you that it is real. it is not fun. i am double vaccinated and boosted but it was still an unpleasant experience. so we should all still be doing everything we can to avoid it and spreading it to ot
