Mayze Teitler is a legal fellow at the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University, where they focus on free speech and privacy litigation, particularly cases involving incarcerated people, the use of spyware, and government transparency issues. They hold a J.D. from Harvard Law School and an M.Sc. in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Oxford. While in law school, they interned at the Knight Institute and the ACLU of the District of Columbia.
