Normally held at the Town Hall, once there is a green light to return to full use of the Town Hall, Councillors will then consider taking this forward. Councillor Pat Taylor was elected to Stoodley Ward, Todmorden Town Council, in May 2019 since when she has been actively involved in representing resident’s interests through an active social media presence. Mayor makes history with second term in office

The Mayor of Bury, Councillor Tim Pickstone, with his partner Wayne Burrows who is the Mayor’s Consort. PRESTWICH councillor Tim Pickstone will be the first person in 70 years to be Mayor of Bury for a second consecutive term. Although several people have served as Bury’s ‘first citizen’ more than once in the town’s civic history, not since shortly after the Second World War has anyone held the post for two years in a row when Alderman W.K. Heaton served from 1949-51.
