The graveyard at Wharton Church is waterlogged I know this is distressing to families with loved ones at rest there, said Cllr Pardoe, whose gran is buried at this cemetery. It is really sad. Myself and Cllr Joanne Moorcroft have talked with Rev Tim Hanson. It is a challenge because of the drainage, we will talk to council officers about the technical issues. The local community is now rallying round to help each other.
