In her regular radio program on Monday, Mayor Sara Z. Duterte said a total of 1,010,811 residents got their first doses, while 908,101 have been fully vaccinated. "Are we confident? We will rather not say. We will not promise but we will try to achieve the demand of the national government to hit the target herd immunity in Davao City," she said. The city government is aiming to fully vaccinate at least 1.2 million to achieve the population protection target. Duterte also said that she is optimistic that the number would increase as the city will take part in the "Bayanihan Bakunahan," a three-day vaccination drive starting November 29 to December 1.
